Update steps up and joins Elfack 2025

Update by Elfack focuses on the industry’s fastest growing technology areas. Developments in these areas have a major impact on the entire electricity industry and therefore Update by Elfack is now moving from being a separate event in 2024 to become a conference and will take place 7-8 May 2025 in parallel with Elfack. The purpose is to stimulate and accelerate the transition towards set sustainability goals.

It is well known that the electricity and energy industry acts as an enabler and catalyst for the transition by, for example, integrating renewable energy sources, promoting energy efficiency and offering technologies that drive a greener economy. As a result, progress is very fast. Innovation is opening up new business models and activities that complement both the industry and Elfack, Northern Europe’s leading trade fair and conference in the field.

Managing the transition requires both the courage to try new things and increased collaboration between different actors. Here, Elfack and Update by Elfack play a key role by bringing together people from business, politics, public authorities and academia for cross-industry meetings. In particular, skills development and skills supply are key issues for achieving set goals. Based on the current economic situation, we are getting signals from the industry that limit the possibilities of delivering the event we had planned in 2024. We are therefore moving Update by Elfack to become part of Elfack 2025.

Elfack 2025 will attract more than 20,000 trade visitors. 400 exhibitors will be present with solutions in ten product areas, including electrical installation, smart grids, solar energy and panels, e-mobility and charging infrastructure, and energy storage and batteries.
