John Doyle
ITRON
John Doyle is The Marketing Executive responsible for Itron Outcomes portfolio in EMEA. His role spans various aspects of local market development including go to market strategy, solutions development, working closely with customers and partners, and liaison with standards making bodies.
John has over 35 years’ experience in engineering and technical marketing. Prior to joining Itron he was CTO EMEA for Silver Spring Networks. Before this he held senior management positions at Cisco Systems in both Europe and the US – most notably as Chief Technical Officer for EMEA (where he provided leadership for the early evolution and formulation of Cisco’s mobile networking and Smart Grid strategies), Director Global Development of Mobile Operator Solutions and Market Strategies, and Director of Global Product and Technology Market Development (including the introduction of the Cisco CRS-1, the first service provider class terabit router).
